Powering prosperity from the inside, one business at a time
National Small Business Week kicked off this week with a theme that couldn’t be more appropriate: Resilience and Renewal.
The Small Business Administration-sponsored week-long event recognizes the ongoing challenges entrepreneurs have been facing in order to support their employees, provide for their customers and build their communities.
It’s the perfect time for QuickBooks Online customers to join the new Intuit virtual Adopt a Small Business program to learn more about QuickBooks and partner with a team of Intuit employees as they navigate new and unprecedented challenges.
An offshoot of the in-person Adopt a Small Business program that began in April, 2019, the updated program demonstrates how Intuit can pivot with and assist entrepreneurs under unexpected circumstances. While Intuit prides itself on creating awesome products and services, our touch points can be short lived and leave us with a partial view of the real-life challenges our small business customers face.
The Adopt a Small Business program changes that.
Going virtual In this virtual iteration, a group of Intuit employees can adopt a QuickBooks customer for two months, getting to know the ups and downs of running a small business while using QuickBooks. Share on X
Because it’s virtual, Intuit employees are no longer confined to adopting small businesses located around Intuit campuses. The program has the flexibility to remotely connect employees with entrepreneurs in different areas and time zones.
Once a small business is adopted, the Intuit teams immerse themselves in the behind-the-scenes work of running a business, completing tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and payroll. At the same time, participating small businesses gain access to Intuit experts who can help provide tips and tricks to run their operations and realize the full benefit of QuickBooks.
What adopting customers are saying
Greg Bowman, of G3 Recruiting Group, saw revenue increase:
“Over the last eight weeks of the program, I’ve grown my business from just a few thousand dollars to almost $100,000.”
For Kevin Quinn, of KTR, the program restored his faith in QuickBooks.
“I may have cancelled QuickBooks again and found another solution if I did not do the program.”
This program has been a very rewarding opportunity for QuickBooks customers, and our employees can focus on one of Intuit’s values — Customer Obsession. We already know our small businesses are resilient and facing challenges every day, but now is our time to truly be their champion and help build their confidence while running QuickBooks.
