Training For SBDCs

America’s SBDC will be providing consultation and workshops to SBDCs interested in the Inclusivity Challenge. Content will be created and facilitated by an experienced Inclusivity Consultant and the SBDC-led Inclusivity Affinity Group.

Training and materials will be tailored for SBDCs and specifically focused on providing insight and building trust in America's underserved small business communities.

Meet Dr. Paula Anderson

Dr. Paula Anderson, LCPC, NCC is the President/CEO at PACE Consulting, a Behavioral Health Counseling and Organizational Consulting firm in the Washington DC area.

Dr. Anderson has degrees in Psychology and Community Counseling; and has recently successfully defended her dissertation in Organizational Psychology. She is also a licensed clinical professional counselor, licensed in the state of Maryland and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She is also a Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Maryland.

Dr. Anderson has over 20 years of experience providing individual, group, couples, and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has worked in corporate, non-profit settings, school-based mental health, private practice, and federal government.

She also has 13 years of providing organizational consulting services. Dr. Anderson facilitates training and provides advice to companies on Workplace Well-being, Team Development, Organizational Culture, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Her wealth of experience equips her to work effectively with clients in many settings.

Dr. Anderson was featured in MEA Magazine (May/June 2013) in the feature section “Women in Business, Making a Difference.” She was also recognized and awarded as one of the 25 Influential Women in Business–Making a Difference in October 2013 by MEA Magazine. In October 2019, Dr. Anderson was featured in the same magazine as a “CEO to Watch.”
