America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) provide one-on-one advising and training to small businesses through a wide variety of services in finance, marketing, and more. SBDCs are a nationwide network of centers supported by colleges, universities, and state development agencies dedicated to helping start and grow small businesses.

Women’s Business Centers (WBCs) are part of a national network of entrepreneurship centers throughout the United States and its territories, which are designed to assist women in starting and growing small businesses. WBCs seek to “level the playing field” for women entrepreneurs, who still face unique obstacles in the business world.

The AWBC works to secure economic justice and entrepreneurial opportunities for women by supporting and sustaining a national network of more than 100 WBCs. WBCs help women succeed in business by providing training, mentoring, business development, and financing opportunities to over 150,000 women entrepreneurs each year. Learn more…
